This is a long shot, but I'm wondering if anyone has an actual spinning wheel (used by textile artists for making yarn from fiber). It's important that it works, since there were many 1960's era decorative lamps and tables that LOOK like spinning wheels but can't actually function.
We can get just about anywhere to pick it up. Hope someone has one gathering dust!
