I have a nice big bag full of quality wool yarn, mostly merino, mostly worsted or DK weight and mostly hand-wash only. Some balls are a wool/silk blend. Preference goes to a wool-loving knitter on a budget who could really use the yarn!
Malabrigo Worsted and Rios and Silky Merino, Manos del Uruguay, Beaverslide Dry Goods, Knit Picks Mostly Merino, some scraps of Dream in Color ... Valley Yarns Northampton, and some good old Cascade 220 -- a wide variety. Mostly cool colors -- lots of purples, blues, aqua, some pinks, magentas, greens... some cream and gray.
No more than two skeins in any one color, I think, so none are enough to make a sweater in a single color, but you could make hats or mittens in a solid or something bigger in multicolors. (I like to knit lots of stripes and colorwork.) Mostly full balls or skeins but also some half-skeins and half-balls smaller leftovers from big knitting projects. Some pieces have their ball bands, some don't, some are wound, some are not.
I had to cut down my yarn stash a lot for a move, so hoping these go to a good home. They have been stored in plastic ziploc and sweater bags with cedar for protection, and we are a smoke-free and pet-free home.
Pickup in Downtown Brooklyn, near the transit museum.
