Maple Street Community Garden, a new garden just opened this year in Prospect
Lefferts Gardens, is looking for a few things to help with their garden this spring.

1) A sandwich board with chalkboard on at least one side.
2) 3 large plastic trash cans (each 30 gallons) for growing potatoes.
3) Chairs for outdoor use.
4) Garden work gloves.
5) Leftover bags of fertilizer, potting soil, cow manure, etc.
6) Gardening hardware: bean poles, trellises, tomato frames and tomato ladders. Twist ties, the kind designed for gardening that are used to tie a vine to a trellis or pole.
7) Pitchfork, rake, and shovel.
8) Compost aerator.
