A friend and I are trying to restore at least fifteen stripped Dell laptops for donation to low/no-income students through a local NFP outreach program. It's a tough situation, since the machines need DDR RAM, batteries and power supplies, but, most importantly, they need 2.5" hard drives. Without those, there's not much point in anything else. These drives can be any size, but should at least 40GB for a bare install of Linux and Open Office. I'm hoping someone has some old ones too small for newer machines that could be used. If you have any of the other stuff too, please get in touch as well.
