I have 2 air conditioners left by roommates over the years. Both work fine. Both install into a window with accordion frames extending on both left and right sides to sit in the window frame. The frame adds about an 1-2" to the height.
1) Goldstar, 5000 BTU, 18.5"w x 12.5"h x 14"d
2) Sharp Comfort Touch, 5000 BTU, 19.75"w x 13.75"h x 16.5"d
Trying to get rid of these ASAP, pick up and moving required.
