I am giving away a Sony Video Cassette Recorder/DVD Recorder, model #RDR-VXD655, with a built-in HD tuner.
This is a very good, high-quality machine that has a problem with the DVD lens. Sometimes it plays discs, sometimes it doesn't. I've found that running a CD cleaner in it helps. Other times just turning the machine off and on a few times. Otherwise, the machine works great! The VCR portion is in fine form. When it's working, you can record from VHS to DVD.
Has hookups for TV antenna/cable, component audio/video, S-video, and HDMI.
Comes with manuals, setup instructions, and the original remote control.
Available most weekdays and weeknights from our Prospect Heights apartment right across from the Brooklyn Museum. Pet-free, non-smoking home.
