I have a Graco car seat. It has special padding for an infant. It has a base to install in a car but I want to note that the seat says it's expired as of 2012. I don't think it's been in an accident, and I don't think it's illegal to use, but it's one of those at your own risk kinda deals.
The seat also clicks into a stroller base with large basket. I think this is safe and solid to use as a stroller, the basket is a nice size. We were going to use as a temporary infant stroller, but are getting gifted a more recent model so we don't need this one.
