This chair was always so comfortable, with great lines and the added bonus of not having a big footprint, so it doesn't tower over all the other furniture. It's a real mid-century piece, with real wood legs (brass caps over the front legs) and real wood framing.
Unfortunately, our kiddo recently jumped off it and somehow managed to break one of the springs and a big hole through the front. I called a re-upholsterer and he said it's easily fixable and can be re-upholstered to look like new. But I just don't have the time for a project right now. If you're good with re-upholstery projects, maybe our beloved chair can have a new life in your digs?
Here are photos showing the before (it broke) and after. Comes from a smoke-free, bug-free home.

Brother Fax, also makes copies. Several years old but works still in good working order. Just need the room. Recently purchased new toner for it.
